The Stern Defense MOD5 upper is an assembled 9mm upper receiver built for compact pistol-caliber AR platforms and pistol builds. It ships complete with an 8.5in Melonite-finished steel barrel and a 10in MOD 5 M-LOK handguard to provide a compact, configurable platform. The upper includes a Glock-cut bolt, dust cover, forward assist, SD HBC 9mm blast can, and an SD CH1 enhanced charging handle. The receiver is manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and the assembly is made in the U.S.A.
