Description
The LMT Defense Tactical Front Sight Assembly (TFSA) was designed to give users of same plane upper receivers and rail systems, the ability to utilize a fixed front sight with full elevation adjustment. This front sight is attached with large, knurled and slotted thumb screw for tool-free (or assisted) installation and removal.
Can be utilized in conjunction with tactical rear sights, detachable carry handle sights, and or flip-up back up iron sights. Compatible on both 7.62 and 5.56 weapon systems.
The L8FS offers simplicity, robustness, and speed compared to flip-up sights. The trade-off is often weight and a busier sight picture when co-witnessing, you can use a Lower 1/3 co-witness optic mount to clear up the sight picture significantly. The L8FS is also appropriate for minimalist builds or for those looking for a more retro flair, as the TFSA mirrors the classic A2 profile of the original M16A2 and M4 carbines.
