The slug is suitable for both smoothbore and rifled barrels, safe for all chokes, and its polyethylene-bearing surfaces reduce bore friction. Boradhead also reduces the possibility of over-penetration. The Devastator model is a lead-free expanding and fragmenting steel slug. It features a terminal ballistic design technology for hunting. It also features a superior knock-down power for North American thin-skinned, medium game such as deer, javelina, bobcat, mountain lion, lynx, feral hogs, and coyote.
