The handguard has a one-piece free float design, and it uses its built-in anti-rotation tabs to offer a very sturdy and stable mounting platform for optics and other accessories.

The top of the handguard has a continuous Picatinny rail, whereas there are M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. The handguard also has a quick disconnect (QD) sling socket at both sides and the bottom.
This low-profile handguard has an internal diameter of 1.72″ and can for most muzzle devices and 1.5″ suppressors if you are using it with a short barrel. You can get the Aero Precision M5 .308 M-LOK handguard in black or flat dark earth.
